The MFO Night will bring together scholars, writers, students, and researchers for a series of interdisciplinary conversations exploring major contemporary issues and the role of the Maison Française d’Oxford in fostering Franco-British scientific and intellectual cooperation.
Through roundtables dedicated to scientific diplomacy, British politics, literature, the humanities and social sciences, and interdisciplinarity, the evening will showcase the diversity of research and intellectual exchange supported by the MFO.
Talks and discussions will be held in both French and English.
The event will also provide an opportunity to pay tribute to leading intellectual figures closely associated with the Maison Française d’Oxford, notably Agnès Alexandre-Collier and Alain Viala.

La Nuit de la MFO réunira universitaires, écrivains, étudiants et chercheurs autour d’une série d’échanges interdisciplinaires consacrés aux grands enjeux contemporains et au rôle de la Maison Française d’Oxford dans la coopération scientifique et intellectuelle franco-britannique. La
À travers plusieurs tables rondes dédiées à la diplomatie scientifique, à la politique britannique, à la littérature, aux sciences humaines et sociales, ainsi qu’à l’interdisciplinarité, cette soirée mettra en lumière la diversité des recherches et des dialogues intellectuels que la MFO encourage et accompagne.
Les interventions et discussions se dérouleront en français et en anglais.
